Price History
Description
Vertical Flame Brass Burners & The 1-Jumbo Advantage
Traditional gas stoves produce sprawling, lateral flames that aggressively heat the handles of your cookware while wasting expensive LPG. The Elica SAPPHIRE 594 CT completely redesigns this by utilizing high-efficiency Vertical Flame Brass Burners. This technology directs the heat straight up into the base of your pan, accelerating boiling times while keeping your kitchen noticeably cooler. Furthermore, it features a highly practical 1 Jumbo, 1 Medium, and 2 Small burner configuration. The dedicated Jumbo burner is an absolute necessity for Indian households, providing the raw thermal output required to properly sear large batches of meat or rapidly boil massive biryani handis.
The Double Drip Tray: Ending the Grease Trap
Cleaning a glass top stove after a heavy Indian cooking session is usually a nightmare, especially when starchy rice water or milk boils over and seeps under the burner base. Elica solves this with a highly engineered Double Drip Tray system. Instead of permanently fixed steel plates, it uses deep, removable stainless steel trays that actively catch liquid spills and heavy grease before they can run down the stove’s legs. Simply lift the trays out, wash them in the sink, and wipe down the toughened glass.
60cm Spatial Reality & Euro-Coated Stability
We must be absolutely honest about the 60cm form factor. Fitting four burners onto a compact 60cm chassis requires compromises in spacing. If you place a massive 5-litre pressure cooker on the Jumbo burner and a wide frying pan on the adjacent burner, they will likely clash. However, the Euro-Coated Round Pan Supports provide exceptional vertical stability. Unlike cheap wire grids, these heavy-duty supports ensure that even when your pots are slightly crowded, they will not wobble dangerously while you vigorously stir thick gravies.
Target Demographics: Is the Elica 594 CT VETRO Right For You?
Retailing in the highly competitive mid-range bracket (Est. ₹6,500 – ₹8,000), this specific model is tailor-made for medium-sized Indian families living in urban apartments with compact kitchen slabs. If you desperately need the cooking speed of 4 burners but absolutely cannot fit a massive 77cm or 90cm stove on your counter, this 60cm Elica is the ultimate spatial compromise. It delivers premium features like Jumbo brass burners and double drip trays without demanding excess kitchen real estate.
⚠️ Dealbreaker Alert: Large Vessel Clashing
If you routinely cook for a large joint family and frequently use massive 5-litre pressure cookers alongside wide 28cm frying pans, do not buy a 60cm 4-burner stove. The burners are situated too closely together. While you technically have 4 burners, you will only be able to comfortably fit two large vessels and two very small saucepans at the same time. For heavy, multi-pan cooking, you must upgrade to the Elica 77cm (SAPPHIRE 774) variant instead.
User Intent FAQ & Troubleshooting
Is toughened glass actually safe for heavy Indian cooking?
Yes. The glass used here is highly tempered to withstand extreme thermal fluctuations. It handles the ambient heat of four running burners flawlessly. Elica is so confident in this specific chassis that they back the glass with a staggering 7-year warranty. Just avoid dropping sharp, heavy cast-iron objects directly onto the glass edges.
Does this stove come with an automatic ignition feature?
No, the SAPPHIRE 594 CT VETRO 1J model features a standard manual ignition system. You will need to use a kitchen lighter or matchstick to ignite the burners after turning the heavy-duty knobs.
Can this stove be converted from LPG to PNG (Pipeline Gas)?
Out of the box, this stove is strictly configured for standard LPG cylinders. If you have a PNG (piped natural gas) connection, you must contact Elica’s authorized service center to professionally swap the burner nozzles before use. Attempting to run PNG through LPG nozzles will result in dangerous, uncontrollable yellow flames.

Test Kitchen Showdown: Elica SAPPHIRE 60cm vs. Prestige Marvel Plus & Sunflame GT Pride
The 60cm 4-burner gas stove category is defined by physical compromise. You are cramming four heat sources into a chassis originally designed for three. To see how the Elica SAPPHIRE 594 CT VETRO handles this spatial challenge, we lined it up against two legendary compact heavyweights on our Thrissur evaluation floors: the Prestige Marvel Plus 4 Burner and the Sunflame GT Pride 4 Burner.
During a brutal multi-tasking test designed to replicate a Sunday morning Kerala kitchen rush, we fired up all four burners on each stove. We placed a cast-iron wok on the largest burner for a high-heat meat roast, boiled milk on the medium burner, and kept two small saucepans simmering on the back burners. We measured raw boiling speed, handle temperature (to see if lateral flames were escaping the pan base), and ease of cleanup after intentionally letting the milk boil over onto the glass.

Reality Check 1: Vertical vs. Lateral Flames
Standard burners push flames outward in a star pattern. When we placed a small saucepan on the Prestige and Sunflame, the lateral flames licked up the sides of the vessel, making the handle too hot to touch without a towel. The Elica SAPPHIRE changes the physics entirely. Its vertical flame brass burners push heat straight upward like a concentrated jet. Not only did water boil almost 15% faster, but the pan handles remained remarkably cool, making it exceptionally fuel-efficient for small-to-medium vessels.
Reality Check 2: The Cleanup Operations
When the milk inevitably boiled over, we observed exactly where the liquid pooled. On the Sunflame and Prestige, the shallow, single-layer drip trays quickly overflowed, allowing starchy milk to seep into the gaps around the gas valves—a nightmare to clean with a sponge. Elica’s Double Drip Tray system features a much deeper physical catch basin. The milk pooled harmlessly inside the removable upper tray. We simply lifted it out, rinsed it in the sink, and the glass underneath was perfectly dry.
Reality Check 3: The Jumbo Burner Necessity
For traditional Indian cooking, a Jumbo burner is not a luxury; it is a baseline requirement for wok tossing, searing meats, and rapid water boiling. Both Elica and Prestige recognize this, providing one dedicated Jumbo burner. The Sunflame GT Pride relies on two medium burners instead. While it saves money upfront, you will actively feel the lack of thermal punch when you are trying to evaporate liquid quickly from a heavy chicken curry.
🎯 The Definitive Buying Verdict
- Buy the Elica SAPPHIRE 594 CT if: You want maximum LPG efficiency via vertical flames, demand the easiest cleanup through double drip trays, and value the immense peace of mind a 7-year glass warranty provides.
- Buy the Prestige Marvel Plus 4B if: You are loyal to the Prestige service network, prefer the aesthetic of rugged cast-iron style pan supports, and want a highly reliable lateral-flame Jumbo burner.
- Buy the Sunflame GT Pride 4B if: You are on a strict budget, need 4 burners for simultaneous low-heat simmering, and do not mind sacrificing the high-heat power of a dedicated Jumbo burner.

One thing for sure sale or no sell the price point is not different it has an MRP of 19000 on website but actually it’s 10000 on the product.

Initially I was spectical to buy because it didn’t have much reviews. I have using it since 1 week and I must say it has good burners with high flames in all 4 of them. It gives a look of high priced stove in your budget and comes with a lighter which makes it easy to use.
I will update after one month of use

I recently purchased the Elica 3 Burner Manual Ignition Gas Stove twice. While I appreciate the overall design and brand quality, I faced issues with both units:
The first piece arrived with a minor crack on the top toughened glass, which was disappointing to see in a brand-new product.
The second piece had a problem with the gas switch, and the spill tray was not fitting properly, affecting usability and safety.
While I trust Elica for its quality and performance, I’m surprised to encounter such issues in two separate units. I hope the brand takes this feedback seriously and improves quality checks during manufacturing and packaging

I opened the gas stove package today, after nearly a week and while examining the burners found that the medium sized burner had a deep gash in its undersize. I was really shocked to see that the burner is not really made of brass, for the gash showed an aluminium like metal beneath the superficial brass and balck coating. Am I being cheated? I have asked a professional to examine this matter and if the burners are not made of brass as advertised, I am taking the seller and elica to court.
